I haven’t posted in a little bit. Been a little busy with Doctors, Blood Tests and CT scans. The fact that I suck at writing has nothing to do with it. Also, this week, my favorite store has moved. It’s only a block over so not even father away from where it moved from. I encourage everyone to check out the new place once it is open.  This week I have more blood work, then a trip to Edmonton to see my oncologist and then treatment on Friday.  I did see the results of my CT scan and it looks like my cancer might be shrinking. Now, I am no Doctor, but the online results did say that the kidney mass is getting smaller. So that’s good news. 

I have been trying to read more. While this is mostly comics, I finally feel like I am making progress on all the books I have. I just finished Ultimate Invasion, which was pretty good.  In it The Maker (an alternate version of Reed Richards) plans to that the Earth Mightiest Heroes never become heroes at all. I give this book a 6 out of 10 and that because it was pencilled my Byran Hitch.

I have also been reading a book from my teen years, called Rom. The book is an fomnibus and will take awhile to get through, but so far it brings back some fond memories of my childhood. Rom is a cybernetic space night from a distant planet in search of the menacing Dire Wraiths, shape changing evil aliens. He has been charged with sending them to limbo with his weapon “the neutralizer”.  Typing it out it does seem goofy, but it was the 80’s.

I have quite a few movies to see this week or next. Godzilla X Kong. The First Omen and Monkey Man. I am excited to see all of them.
